One Dead In ACN/PDP Clash In Edo
The rivalry between the Action Congress of
Nigeria (ACN) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo state
appears unending as supporters of the parties were involved in a bloody
conflict on Thursday that claimed the life of one person.
One person was killed and about seven others injured in the clash between ACN and PDP supporters in Fugar, Etsako central local government area of Edo state.
The state police public relations officer who confirmed the incident also disclosed that the ACN chairman’s house in Fugar was set ablaze and a number of vehicles were damaged.
He however said normalcy has returned to the community as a detachment of mobile police have been drafted there to keep the peace.
