Agege was abrupted when one Mazda bus, white colour with the inscription Okene
Local Government and registration number XN 350 KSF collided with another white
Mazda bus with the registration number AKD 222 XC which conveyed the people who
are going to the Quranic graduation venue.

venue.
Another eye

or sleeping because he was the one ran into the bus that conveyed passengers.
“I was about entering Anwar College to watch football match before I heard a
noise and when I looked back, it was the collision of two commercial buses. The
leg of the woman that sat in front of the bus was shattered and we quickly
carried her to the hospital in front of the accident scene. The other people in
the bus sustained minor injuries and they have been treated in the hospital”.

bus was said to have taken to unknown hospital due to injury he sustained from
the shattered windscreen.
In
confirming the insinuation that the driver might have drunk or sleeping, the
driver’s colleague who later came to the accident scene confirmed that the
driver just returned from Okene in Kogi State this morning and what he told him
before he left his place now was that he is going home to rest. This according
to many people there affirmed that the driver has slept off on driving because
he travelled through the night from Okene to Lagos.
One
prominent person in the area said that the Federal Road Safety Commission
(FRSC) should double effort in sensitizing drivers about the dangers on
drinking and sleeping while driving especially at this restive period.
