WHEN OBASA RE-RUN, LITTLE KINGS WILL BE ON THE RUN (OBA KEEKEKE A SA)

WHEN OBASA RE-RUN, LITTLE KINGS WILL BE ON THE RUN (OBA KEEKEKE A SA)

Once again, the intensification and preparation of 2019 general elections has been on top gear in Agege Local government and the gladiators are stepping up various strategies to penetrate the minds of their respective party supporters and the people. The littering of signposts, postals across major roads and the chanting of “I no go gree” among the players and their supporters is pointing to the direction of exploiting all possibilities by the gladiators  to be the favourite party flagbearer of their parties at the same time, the winner of the election. Though, it is never a constitutional breach to show interest of vying for a political post and that is what translated into the pasting of posters and the placing of signposts as it was witnessed. The social media too, presently, was also a medium using by the gladiators to fester on their ambitions. Visiting the pages of the supporters of the gladiators will left you with no doubt that till February 2019 when elections will be conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the page of the supporters of these political gladiators will be busy with unalloyed support, sycophancy, ingenuity, abuse, blackmailing, argument and counter argument.

The 2019 election in Agege can be coined as the continuation of political game between Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa and the other camp within the rulling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the local government. The last local government election was assumed to be the exacerbation of the existing discord between the camp of Obasa and the other divide because of the entrenched political interplay that characterized the choosing of the flagbearer in the party. Both camps lay claims to the authenticity of their respective candidates and it takes INEC ordination to settle the brouhaha few days to the elections.             Expectedly, the norms in Nigeria politics is for the side that is fast loosing the grip to start throwing tantrum at the other side with the accusation of imposition and the monetization of the whole processes. This was exactly what Obasa has been accused of at the last local government election in Agege. When a friend who happened to be a staunch supporter of the other side is relating what happened to me in the last local government elections, he erroneously indicted his camp by agreeing that the vice chairman in the local government, Abiodun Ogunji, is from their camp. The question that depicted my lips to my friend was; if your camp produced the vice chairman, why are you guys still not in tandem with the fact that your camp also controls a very high position in the current local government administration?

What Obasa has been accused of is his sense of awakening to the responsibility of projecting his party APC in the right path in the local government by annihilating the old status quo of “me and me alone “syndrome when it comes to the sharing of the resources in the local government. The result of the “me and me alone syndrome” was what ousted one of the major player of the other divide during the 2015 primary election when seeking for House of  Representative ticket despite the sharing of dollars to the delegates on the eve of the primary elections. Yet, no lesson has been learnt on this and the best they can do is to start attacking a man that is trying to reposition the party to his strong path of glory it enjoys in the past.

Another question is, are these people expecting Obasa to take the back seat and be embedded in docility despite that he was the speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly? Lagos state was just rated as the fastest growing city in Africa under Governor Ambode and the essentiality of this achievement must be the cooperation the governor is enjoying with the House of Assembly under the amiable leadership of Rt. Hon. Mudashir Obasa. I don’t think anybody even within the other divide will be covered with such hallucination of abnegating the responsibility of leadership of his party in his local government when elected as the speaker of the House of Assembly in the state?
The conclusion is simple and straight, Rt, Hon, Mudashir Ajayi Obasa is the Speaker Lagos State House Of Assembly and he represented Agege constituency 01. Construction and restructuring of roads are massively going on in the local government, Agege have the Commissioner for Environment, Dr, Samuel Babatunde Adejare. The construction of 1.4 kilometer bridge at Pen cinema to link Agunbiade and Alfa-Nla is ongoing. State social benefits was much extended and expanded in the local government all on the basis that the Speaker of the House of Assembly is from Agege Local Government. So it is not commonsensical at all to forestall the returning of Obasa to the House of Assembly all in the name that he has been in the assembly for long. What suppose to be the striking point in the mind of patriots is that, what will people at large gain in a certain action undertaken by them? Anybody called himself a patriot and not championing the cause of the people first in his actions and inactions will definitely find himself alone in the wilderness- an abode where they are till present. Obasa will re-contest and he will win and once again become the Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly so that Agege Local government can continuing be the haven of modernity and development. “It is indeed foolish and madness to turn off the heat when the water had started boiling”

Boko Haram leader vowed defeat regional forces in a new video

Kano (Nigeria) (AFP) - Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau vowed in a new video released on Monday that the group would defeat a regional force fighting the extremists in Nigeria's far northeast, Niger and Cameroon.
"Your alliance will not achieve anything. Amass all your weapons and face us. We welcome you," he said in a 28-minute speech, one of three videos posted by the Islamists on YouTube.
Troops from Nigeria have been backed by soldiers from Chad, Cameroon and Niger in recent weeks because of increased concerns about Boko Haram's threat to regional security.
In the second of the latest videos, images of the leader of the Islamic State group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, are shown along with archive footage and a voiceover recalling a battle between British colonial soldiers and fighters from the Sokoto Caliphate in northern Nigeria.
Shekau has namechecked al-Baghdadi before but appears to be positioning Boko Haram in a wider jihadi context by showing the Sokoto Caliphate, which was dismantled by the British in the early 20th century.
"We never rose up to fight Africa. We rose up to fight the world," he said.
"We are going to fight the world on the principle that whoever doesn't obey Allah and the Prophet to either obey or die or become a slave."
On Sunday, Boko Haram militants waged twin attacks in the town of Diffa in southeast Niger, opening a new front in its offensive after repeated attacks in Cameroon's far northern region.
The six-year uprising has become a regional crisis and on Saturday, Nigeria, Chad, Niger, Cameroon and Benin agreed to muster 8,700 troops, police and civilians to fight the group.
But Shekau dismissed the size of the force, which had previously been set at about 7,500.
"You send 7,000 troops? Why don't you send 70 million? This is small. Only 7,000? By Allah, it is small. We can seize them one-by-one. We can seize them one-by-one," he said in Arabic.
Shekau also directly threatened Chad's President Idriss Deby, whose forces have attacked Boko Haram in the northeast Nigerian towns of Gamboru and Malam Fatori in recent days.
Shekau's challenge comes after the United States said on Friday that Boko Haram could face a stronger test against more capable regional forces.
Washington estimates that Boko Haram has a core of between 4,000 and 6,000 fighters but is well-equipped after raiding Nigerian Army positions.

MAHMOUD GADAFFI LAST SPEECH!!!

In the name of Allah, the ...beneficent, the merciful...
For 40 years, or was it longer, I can't remember, I did all I could to give people houses, hospitals, schools, and when they were hungry, I gave them food. I even made Benghazi into farmland from the desert, I stood up to attacks from that cowboy Ronald Reagan, when he killed my adopted orphaned daughter, he was trying to kill me, instead he killed that poor innocent child. Then I helped my brothers and sisters from Africa with money for the African Union.
I did all I could to help people Understand the concept of real democracy, where people's committees ran our country. But that was never enough, as some told me, even people who had 10 room homes, new suits and furniture, were never satisfied, as selfish as they were they wanted more. They told Americans and other visitors, that they needed "democracy" and "freedom" never realizing it was a cut throat system, where the biggest dog eats the rest, but they were enchanted with those words, never realizing that in America, there was no free medicine, no free hospitals, no free housing, no free education and no free food, except when people had to beg or go to long lines to get soup.
No, no matter what I did, it was never enough for some, but for others, they knew I was the son of Gamal Abdel Nasser, the only true Arab and Muslim leader we've had since Salah-al-Deen, when he claimed the Suez Canal for his people, as I claimed Libya, for my people, it was his footsteps I tried to follow, to keep my people free from colonial domination - from thieves who would steal from us.
Now, I am under attack by the biggest force in military history, my little African son, Obama wants to kill me, to take away the freedom of our country, to take away our free housing, our free medicine, our free education, our free food, and replace it with American style thievery, called "capitalism" ,but all of us in the Third World know what that means, it means corporations run the countries, run the world, and the people suffer.
So, there is no alternative for me, I must make my stand, and if Allah wishes, I shall die by following His path, the path that has made our country rich with farmland, with food and health, and even allowed us to help our African and Arab brothers and sisters.
I do not wish to die, but if it comes to that, to save this land, my people, all the thousands who are all my children, then so be it.
Let this testament be my voice to the world, that I stood up to crusader attacks of NATO, stood up to cruelty, stoop up to betrayal, stood up to the West and its colonialist ambitions, and that I stood with my African brothers, my true Arab and Muslim brothers, as a beacon of light.
When others were building castles, I lived in a modest house, and in a tent. I never forgot my youth in Sirte, I did not spend our national treasury foolishly, and like Salah-al-Deen, our great Muslim leader, who rescued Jerusalem for Islam, I took little for myself...
In the West, some have called me "mad", "crazy", but they know the truth yet continue to lie, they know that our land is independent and free, not in the colonial grip, that my vision, my path, is, and has been clear and for my people and that I will fight to my last breath to keep us free, may Allah almighty help us to remain faithful and free.
-Mu'ummar Qaddafi.

Hunt is on for suspected British jihadi in James Foley execution video

An international manhunt is under way for the fighter shown in a video of the beheading of journalist James Foley -- and its focus is on Britain.
The Islamic State militant on the video has his face covered, except for his eyes. But he has what appears to be a distinctly British accent.
UK media reports are rife with speculation about where he's from. Linguistics experts say his accent indicates he is from southeast England or London, perhaps the capital's East End.
As news of the cold-blooded execution of Foley emerged, UK Prime Minister David Cameron interrupted his summer vacation to head a meeting of the government's emergency committee, known as COBRA, in London.
Speaking to the media, he condemned the killing as "a murder without any justification" and said that while the man has not been identified, "it looks increasingly likely that it is a British citizen."

More than 40 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip over the past two days, taking the death toll from Israel’s war against the Palestinian enclave to over 2,065.

I’ll consider joining PDP if Satan converts to Islam – El-Rufai

el rufai sss
A former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory [FCT] and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress [APC], Nasir El-Rufai, has ruled out the possibility of leaving his party for the ruling People Democratic Party, PDP.
In a tweet Wednesday, Mr. El Rufai appeared to be reacting to the defection of a former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nuhu Ribadu, who decamped from the APC to PDP weekend.
Mr. Ribadu is also a former presidential candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, which is part of the APC today.
“I will only consider the choice of defection to the People Democratic Party, PDP when Satan repents and converts to Islam,” Mr. El Rufai said in a Twitter message.
Mr. El-Rufai was a PDP leader during the Obasanjo Administration before Joining the Congress for Progressive Change [CPC], which later transformed into the APC.
The former minister’s posters have flooded parts of Kaduna State, but it is not clear whether he plans to seek an elected office in the state in 2015.
